Newborn Limousin twin calves weighed in at a total of 52 kilograms, one at 30 kilograms with the other at just 22 kilograms.

This cow wears an e-shepherd collar. The programme is used to restrict cattle’s grazing to specific areas. Also, cows close to dropping their calves can be located using the e-shepherd programme.

Twelve days later the twins are thriving. This mum and her new calves have been placed in their own paddock where their growth and development can be easily monitored. They will join the rest of the herd in coming days.
