Unison Limousins has been, once again, highly successful at the Harvey Beef Gate 2 Plate Challenge 2024, achieving a 3rd for Best Feedlot Performance as well as placing 7th overall.

This year was the 10th anniversary of the Harvey Beef Gate 2 Plate Challenge. Unison Limousins has been a consistent entrant in the Challenge and is the most successful pure-bred competitor overall. Recent awards have included a first place and fifth place in 2020, as well as second in last year’s Challenge.

The Harvey Beef Gate 2 Plate Challenge provides competition for WA beef producers, delivering analytical data about herd performance as well as opportunities for networking. Competitors entered 4 steers in the Challenge this year, with the best three scores on all 4 steers considered against feedlot performance and production data.

Campbell Nettleton, on behalf of Unison Limousins and the Nettleton family, receives this year’s 3rd Best Feedlot Performance prize.
